NOI Track was launched on 5 May 2009. While there were many goals to the application, the key goals were:
(1) The NOI System enables our employees to search a database of incidents to extract information that can be used for tailgate safety meetings and other incident prevention activities
(2) The NOI Interface is intuitive and allows any Weston employee to enter an NOI will little or no training
(3) The NOI System will make it easier to identify open NOI’s and thus, enable all NOI’s to be closed properly
(4) The NOI system will enable the Risk Management Dept. to spend less time on data collection and reporting
(5) Trend and distribution data are retrievable, assessable, and utilized by administrative groups, particularly RM/EHS
(6) The NOI System will enhance data collection and reporting of security, computer/tech, and other non-specific types of incidents
The business teams feels like these goals were met in the release of the NOI Track system. We look forward to hearing your impressions of the system and your experiences finding useful information.
